KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must maintain a fully functional DDC and HVAC maintenance and installation office within a 50-mile radius of the Oakland County main campus
Must have company-level certification through Control Systems Integrators Association (CSIA)
Must be regularly and primarily engaged in the design, installation, and servicing of computerized building management and HVAC systems of comparable size and complexity
Must provide general and after-hours service including MSI and HVAC technicians available within 24 hours of a service request
Must register with and participate in the E-Verify Program

Must provide documentation of required insurance upon award
Must maintain and/or participate in Registered Apprenticeship Training Programs as approved by the United States Department of Labor

DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide building management system (BMS) integrator services to ensure high quality, consistency, and care throughout all phases of the BMS Master Plan implementation. The Master System Integrator (MSI) will support the uninterrupted operation of building systems during the integration of both existing and new equipment. All buildings will remain occupied during the process, including sites with 24/7/365 operations.

Scope includes delivering a controls dashboard and interface, managing building controls and HVAC operations, resolving specific building issues, and troubleshooting equipment operations. The responsibilities also encompass daily systems management such as monitoring, trending, energy and meter management, analytics, and miscellaneous industry operations training.

The service contract will be awarded for a one-year period. Interested parties must submit their questions regarding the RFP by April 22, 2026.
