General Services Administration
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The organization is seeking vendors to provide building automation system (BAS) integration software and the associated equipment supplies for an enterprise-wide BAS solution. The objective is to reduce IT security resource requirements and personnel time, while also supporting adaptability for upcoming IT initiatives.
The proposed solution must standardize BAS hardware and software, with explicit support for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) as part of the transition from IPv4, in line with relevant directives. Additional goals include consolidating BAS virtual servers—integrating multiple buildings with similar systems within regions onto a single server—to minimize server licensing, patching, updates, and manpower costs. The solution should also contribute to reducing the need for individual virtual machines and decrease IT personnel involvement in software and hardware remediation on the Building Systems Network.
