KEY REQUIREMENTS

DESCRIPTION

The agency is seeking a comprehensive budgeting and forecasting system to enhance the functionality of its daily operations for management, finance teams, departmental units, and business units. The solution should facilitate real-time views of current budget conditions, enable budget modifications, and support what-if analysis scenarios. Management, finance personnel, and budget holders require the system to enter and modify data as needed for generating fiscal year budget documents.

The system must support forecasting and modeling processes, including cost and revenue projections, and calculations related to borrowing and associated interest charges. It should be capable of generating a full suite of financial reports required by local authorities for inclusion in their accountability documentation. Integration solutions, automated workflows, single sign-on access, role-based access and permissions, concurrent user support, and budget model locking capabilities are essential features.
