A government authority in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, seeks a vendor to deliver a turnkey Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) LTE and 5G-ready private wireless network service. The selected vendor will be responsible for the design, furnishing, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of a complete CBRS-based private wireless communications network that is LTE capable and prepared for 5G upgrades.
This system will function as the primary communications path for newly installed reclosers and other grid devices, ensuring reliable and secure telemetry and control. The solution must deliver a fully operational end-to-end private wireless communications system and serve as the primary network for all City reclosers upon project completion. The scope includes providing all necessary equipment, labor, software, licensing, and services for full system functionality, with the capability to operate automatic narrowband fallback to avoid any loss of critical telemetry or control.
The contract will span a period of five years.
