A California agency is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver comprehensive brand development, website redesign, and implementation support services focused on the WordPress CMS platform. The scope of work includes conducting a website audit, analytics review, and user experience assessment, followed by the development of a user-centered information architecture and navigation system. The selected vendor will redesign the website with an updated brand and visual identity, working within WordPress using custom templates and components in collaboration with the agency's current technical partner, and utilizing third-party tools such as Gravity Forms.
Responsibilities also include evaluating existing site content and recommending optimal organization, structure, and writing style for the new site. The website must be fully accessible, mobile-responsive, and search-optimized, with recommendations for an enhanced search tool to improve search capabilities. The project encompasses discovery research, including stakeholder interviews and analysis of current brand communications, to inform the development of a cohesive brand platform—defining the brand promise, value proposition, communication themes, and foundational messaging.
Additionally, the vendor will create a messaging toolkit tailored to the agency's multiple audiences, ensuring clear and compelling communication of the agency’s role and value. An updated visual identity is required, including a new logo, typography, color palette, and associated creative assets. Comprehensive documentation must also be provided to support ongoing maintenance, governance, and brand consistency.
