The City of Minneapolis is seeking a vendor to provide services related to its Black Business Week Notice of Funding Availability initiative. All proposed activities and related expenses are required to comply with public purpose rules applicable to city funds.
Eligible activities may include organizing workshops and trainings, hosting networking events, curating pop-up markets, and conducting resource fairs. Additional activities could involve public promotional campaigns aimed at supporting local businesses and events dedicated to advancing business development in the city.
Program funds are permissible for use on space and equipment rentals, speaker fees, materials development, printing, event planning, interpretation and translation, photography, videography, and marketing or promotion for events. All marketing materials must be pre-approved by the City and utilize official branding. Event-related food and beverage costs are allowed, provided they adhere to the City's policy. Vendors must ensure that any photos or videos generated are made available to the City for future use. All vendor inquiries must be submitted by April 16, 2026.
