The vendor will develop a comprehensive biosecurity strategy and action plan focused on addressing risks from invasive, novel, and unwanted species. The process involves reviewing existing data and background information, consulting with staff and external subject matter experts, and identifying critical organisms and pathways of concern.
A screening-level risk assessment will be completed, synthesizing best practices and defining actionable priorities, roles, research needs, and a detailed implementation framework. The vendor's responsibilities also include conducting a risk assessment for identified organisms of concern, reviewing best practices, and delivering both the finalized biosecurity strategy and a presentation.
All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by April 9, 2026.
