Bioinformatics and Statistics Analytics Software Renewal

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) announces its intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract for the renewal of bioinformatics and statistics analytics software. The intended awardee is Genedata (USA) Inc., in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions for only one responsible source where no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract period will run from March 30, 2026 to March 29, 2027.

This acquisition will support the Viral Pathogenesis and Evolution Section (VPES) within the Laboratory of Infectious Diseases, which is engaged in research addressing the pathobiology and control of respiratory viral pneumonia, including infections caused by SARS–CoV–2 and influenza A viruses. The VPES utilizes high-throughput genomic, proteomic, computational modeling, and machine learning approaches to understand the molecular basis of viral disease, with ongoing efforts to develop and evaluate novel vaccines and antiviral therapies.

While this notice does not constitute a solicitation, other vendors capable of providing the required software and services may submit capability statements for consideration by the specified deadline. The Government will consider all responses received but maintains discretion regarding the decision to compete this requirement.
