Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The contracting agency is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive services for the installation, maintenance, and customer support of publicly accessible bicycle electronic locker systems. This project includes supplying, installing, and ensuring the ongoing operability of secure, weather-resistant bicycle storage units that feature user-friendly electronic access systems such as mobile applications, RFID or transit cards, or keypad entry mechanisms. The lockers are to be operated as a shared-use, on-demand service with non-exclusive, short-term usage for multiple registered users, returning to general availability after each use or upon reaching a defined maximum usage period.
Responsibilities also cover routine preventative maintenance, on-call maintenance, and repair services to support system reliability. Vendors must provide comprehensive customer service for locker end users, which encompasses account assistance, troubleshooting user access issues, managing payment inquiries and account balances, and assisting local businesses and employers with employee account setups. Contractors are expected to collect and report data related to system usage, availability, and performance metrics, while adhering to a customer support schedule approved by the City.
