DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a qualified vendor to provide bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure design services. The scope includes consultant engineering, design, planning, and drafting services on an as-needed basis to support the city's projects. Key tasks may involve roadway design, development of bicycle and pedestrian facilities, drainage, landscape architecture, preparation of plans and specifications, post-design services, and reviewing other engineering consultants’ work.

The services also encompass design engineering for bicycle boulevards, protected bicycle lanes and intersections, traffic calming measures, and sidewalks. Additional responsibilities may include staffing assistance in the management of design projects as well as construction management, overseeing the entire lifecycle of assigned projects as an agent of the city. The contract will be for a one-year period.

Vendors are welcome to submit questions until April 3, 2026, and a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 26, 2026.
