The government authority located in Richmond, British Columbia seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive benefits consulting services. The selected firm will deliver core annual services, ongoing advisory and support, as well as project-based and specialized consulting focused on employee benefits. Services will include support for a flexible benefits plan for permanent management employees, with coverage options such as extended health, dental, life insurance, accident insurance, and long-term disability.
The consultant will assist with annual enrollment processes, including pricing, flex credits, and providing decision support, and will monitor legislative, regulatory, and market trends, reporting on impacts as necessary. The services will also include handling escalated service, claims, and contract-related issues, and offering expert advice on benefits plan administration, governance, and best practices. Insurance premiums are managed through employer payments and investment returns. The initial contract period is set for two years.
