The government authority in St. Christiansburg, Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide benefits consulting services for its employee benefits program. Responsibilities include recommending alternative benefit plan designs, delivery systems, funding methods, and communication strategies in response to regulatory and environmental changes.
The consultant must stay abreast of health benefits trends, new legislation, and provide ongoing compliance reviews for the town's employee benefits program. Additional tasks involve communicating benefit plan details to employees annually and during benefit enrollment, assisting with claim resolution, and supporting the drafting, issuing, and evaluating of related requests for proposals.
