DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Largo, Florida, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive benefits consultant services. The selected firm will collaborate to develop long-range strategies concerning health insurance and benefit plans, ensuring timely communication and assistance regarding new, revised, or updated benefit laws, regulations, and relevant program modifications.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and recommending changes to existing benefit plans, advising on modifications to plan design and cost structures, and evaluating potential new programs. The consultant will assist in negotiations with benefit plan providers on various matters, such as premium rates, benefit levels, performance standards, contractual terms, and data analysis related to medical conditions, prescriptions, and high-cost procedures.
