Benefit Consulting Services

The selected vendor will provide benefit consulting services for the government authority in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Services will include evaluating strategies to minimize increasing medical costs through continuous review of organizational needs and objectives related to benefit plan design. The consultant will assist with plan management, funding, implementation, administration, renewals, marketing, compliance, and provide research and technical support.

The role also involves helping develop and achieve long-term benefit goals, as well as keeping the city updated on federal and state laws, regulations, administrative or judicial rulings, and tax laws that may impact the benefits program. The consultant must maintain and analyze records on financial and claims experience, as well as overall program condition and progress, providing quarterly reports. Annual recommendations for employee contribution rates and analysis of fiscal impact and funding requirements are also required.
