A government agency in New York is seeking a qualified vendor to support the Behavioural Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), a telephone survey administered in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The BRFSS collects anonymous information from adults regarding health conditions, behaviors, and other factors impacting population health.
The selected consultant will collaborate with agency staff to review and refine the draft project plan, participate in planning meetings, and provide written feedback on key project deliverables. Responsibilities also include developing a moderator guide for focus groups on topics provided by the agency, as well as training staff to lead and facilitate these sessions.
In addition, the consultant will create a recruitment plan and promotional materials to effectively engage the target community and ensure strong participation from priority populations. All questions related to this opportunity must be submitted by January 23, 2026. The contract will span a one-year period.
