Option 1 for contract extension is from July 1st, 2029 to June 30th, 2030.

Option 2 for contract extension is from July 1st, 2030 to June 30th, 2031.

The government authority in Waterbury, Connecticut seeks a qualified vendor to provide behavior analyst services, along with district-wide de-escalation and restraint training. The selected provider will offer behavior therapy services and deliver crisis intervention program training in both physical and psychological management for school staff. Supervision, professional development, and related services are expected for students with disabilities from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, supporting up to 1,500 hours annually for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

The scope also includes attendance and instruction in physical and psychological management training (PMT) focused on restraint and seclusion techniques, as well as monitoring and improving student behavioral programs. Responsibilities involve developing and implementing individualized education plan (IEP) goals and objectives, conducting assessments and evaluations across different settings, supervising behavior therapy staff, providing staff and parent training as needed, and other related duties as directed by administration. The contract period is three years, and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by March 27, 2026.
