The Agency is seeking qualified and experienced operators to manage and revitalize the batting cage facility at Babcock Park in Hialeah, Florida. This initiative is focused on transforming an underutilized recreational asset into a dynamic, high-quality training and community hub that supports residents of all ages, with a distinct focus on youth development.
The selected operator will be responsible for restoring the facility to full operational condition. Responsibilities include repairing or replacing existing pitching machines and equipment, installing all required safety features such as netting, ensuring compliance with public safety standards, and upgrading infrastructure such as lighting, office space, and surveillance cameras. The facility comprises both indoor and outdoor areas, with approximate interior dimensions of 89' x 110' x 90' x 112' (irregular configuration).
Operators will also deliver structured programming, including lessons and clinics, and are expected to provide and install high-quality furnishings and necessary equipment to enhance the customer experience, including comfortable seating for waiting patrons. The contract period will span one year, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled.
Interested vendors must address all questions by May 14, 2026, and are encouraged to participate in the pre-bid meeting to understand the site and requirements in detail.
