DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Washington, DC is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive bankable nature-based development services. The scope includes designing and implementing strategies for ecological restoration, climate resilience infrastructure, and enhancement of biodiversity through project archetypes such as nature-based solutions (NbS), green-grey infrastructure (GGI), and integrated urban resilience interventions.

Services required encompass the development of financial and economic analyses, establishing a climate rationale, creating a monitoring and evaluation framework, conducting environmental and social screening, and adopting a gender and social inclusion approach. The work also involves preparing a risk matrix with mitigation measures and developing a technical design package that may include policy reforms, institutional capacity building, ecosystem restoration, and community stewardship.

The selected vendor will deliver a donor-aligned, submission-ready proposal to enable access to climate finance, guided by a framework with a long-term vision across five strategic pillars.
