DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Rye Brook, New York, is seeking a vendor to provide upgrades and services for its baggage handling system (BHS). The project includes the removal, modification, temporary reinforcement, and rerouting of baggage conveyor segments, along with associated conduits, control stations, and related BHS field devices.
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing engineering, programming, and fabrication of all baggage handling conveyor equipment, ensuring maintenance access, managing transportation to and from the site, and addressing power and control requirements. The scope also covers integration of new components with the existing system, maintenance diagnostics, statistical reporting, complete installation, testing, and delivery of the upgraded BHS in full working order.
This contract will be performance-based and is scheduled for a one-year term.
