DESCRIPTION

The agency is seeking a vendor to assume comprehensive management of its existing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment. The selected proponent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service management, ensuring a smooth transition of existing desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) operations, along with the continuous operation and optimization of the environment.

Key responsibilities include host pool design and scaling, session host image creation and management, FSLogix profile containers, and application packaging and delivery. The vendor will also manage Azure AD and Conditional Access, oversee networking, VPN, and hybrid identity, and ensure regular security, application, and Windows feature patching. Additional tasks encompass monitoring and diagnostics using Azure tools, implementing AVD security hardening and best practices, and providing robust user session and FSLogix profile support.
