DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Des Moines, Iowa is seeking vendors to provide auxiliary concrete services for various projects. Required services include demolition and removal of old concrete, concrete repairs such as saw-cutting and removing damaged sections, site preparation including excavation and grade work, and pour preparation.

Additional responsibilities encompass forming areas for new pours, installing and compacting base materials like sand, gravel, or crushed rock/concrete, setting or tying rebar and/or mesh when necessary, placing and spreading concrete to specified depths and thicknesses, and delivering quality finishing such as leveling, floating, troweling, or texturing. Vendors must also provide for expansion and control joints and be prepared to perform additional concrete work on a project-by-project basis.
