DESCRIPTION

Annapolis Transit is seeking a vendor to provide an automatic vehicle location (AVL) and automated voice annunciation technology system. The scope includes supplying hardware and compatible software systems for automated aural stop announcements, integrated with bus radio, and ensuring real-time vehicle location updates for three fixed, color-coded routes—the Brown, Green, and Red Rainbow Routes—which operate weekdays and Saturdays.

The project aims to enhance internal management and external passenger information by deploying the next generation of real-time vehicle location tools.
