DESCRIPTION

The Army National Guard (ARNG) seeks a vendor to provide an Automated Tool Control and Inventory Management System for the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF). The solution must feature tool storage with integrated automated tool tracking and an accountability reporting system, delivering total asset visibility for a real-time, 100% accurate inventory of all tools.

Centralized management and reporting are required for the system to aggregate and generate reports on tool usage, user activity, and inventory status, especially if multiple tool storage units are deployed. Supervisors should be able to schedule notifications to alert users about inspections or calibrations of selected tools, either regularly or as needed.

The system must also provide automated accountability by detecting and logging every tool removal or return to its storage unit in real time, eliminating the need for manual actions such as barcode scanning or wand waving.
