The State of New York is seeking a vendor to implement a multilingual, automated victim notification system. This system must provide 24/7 access and deliver notifications via phone call, email, and text message, ensuring timely and reliable communication with victims.
Notifications must be available in a wide range of languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Russian, Bengali, Korean, Yiddish, Italian, Arabic, Polish, French, and Urdu. The selected vendor will also be responsible for coordinating access for speakers of additional languages as needed. The system must deliver notifications for events such as discharge from sentence, release, escape, death, transfer to furlough or work release, transfer to other agencies, and return to agency custody.
The contract is slated for a five-year period. Interested vendors must be able to demonstrate experience with multilingual, large-scale notification systems and the capability to provide consistent, secure, and confidential communication to a diverse user base.
