This solution must combine both locker hardware and comprehensive inventory management software, supporting a variety of compartment types for lending use. It should provide easy access for users, streamline administrative operations, and deliver detailed analytics.
The system must enable real-time equipment inventory tracking, allowing staff to quickly view item availability, current rentals, and return statuses. The solution should also facilitate efficient check-in and check-out processes for equipment or other rentable items, including robust user identity verification and transaction logging. Automated notifications or alerts for overdue equipment and upcoming return times are required.
Administrative features should allow staff to manage inventory records, with the ability to add, remove, or edit items. The solution should support secure authentication for agency users, including integration with institutional login management systems such as Single Sign-On (SSO). The system must allow configuration of rental policies (e.g., time limits, user eligibility, equipment restrictions) and deliver thorough reporting on equipment usage, rental frequency, and utilization trends. The contract period will last for one year.
