The solution should also facilitate efficient check-in and check-out processes for equipment or other rentable items, including robust user identity verification and transaction logging. Automated notifications or alerts for overdue equipment and upcoming return times are required.

Administrative features should allow staff to manage inventory records, with the ability to add, remove, or edit items. The solution should support secure authentication for agency users, including integration with institutional login management systems such as Single Sign-On (SSO).
