DESCRIPTION

A parking authority in Virginia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide an automated parking guidance system utilizing advanced technologies. The proposed system should offer comprehensive vehicular parking guidance, including capabilities for license plate recognition (LPR), closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, as well as both variable and fixed signage for efficient wayfinding. The system must also include accurate space counting and identification, a 'find your car' feature, and integration with mobile applications for both iPhone and Android platforms.

Additional requirements include the ability to facilitate revenue enhancement through tiered rate structures based on season, time of day, location, premium areas, and reserved parking spaces. The system must integrate seamlessly with the Authority’s existing Revenue Control System. Advanced LPR functionality is required to alert operators to unreadable or missing plates. The mobile application should enable users to view real-time space availability across all six garage levels and assist them in locating their parked vehicles. Potential vendors must be able to deliver a robust, user-friendly solution that improves both operational efficiency and customer experience within the Authority's parking facilities.
