Washington, DC is seeking vendors to provide an automated parking guidance system designed to enhance parking operations through accurate, real-time parking availability data. The system should deliver seamless integration of mobile applications and web-based portals for users, displaying real-time information via an intuitive graphical user interface.
Vendors will be responsible for the design and implementation of the system, including network architecture, equipment delivery and installation, hardware and software programming, as well as testing of parking sensors or cameras, signage, head-end components, gateways, and network connectivity. The project also includes the establishment of both local and cloud servers, and a centralized web-based management tool for monitoring and reporting parking utilization.
Reliability and ease of maintenance for all hardware and software components are essential. This contracting opportunity is set aside for total small business participation.
