DESCRIPTION


The government authority located in Washington, DC seeks an auditing firm to provide comprehensive auditing services. The contract will cover audit agency financial statements for fiscal years ending September 30, 2026, through September 30, 2029. The auditing firm will be responsible for evaluating and expressing an opinion on the fair presentation of financial statements according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in the United States.

Required reports include audited financial statements for the United Planning Organization (UPO), OMB uniform guidance (A–133 Audit), data collection form submissions to the federal audit clearinghouse, financial statements for the UPO retirement plan, statements for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast, and preparation of IRS Form 990. All prospective bidders must submit their questions no later than May 8, 2026. The awarded contract will be for a four-year period.
