Perform annual audit of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
Express an unqualified opinion on the fairness of financial statements.
Perform examination to determine compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate the system of internal controls and communicate significant deficiencies or material weaknesses.
Comply with Federal Single Audit Act, OMB Circular No. A-133, other applicable Federal laws, and Florida Single Audit Act.
Use financial condition assessment procedures as established under Florida Statutes 218.503.
Review financial report for consistency with the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
Issue reports on basic financial statements, compliance and internal control over financial reporting, compliance for major federal/state programs, and a management letter.
Complete GIBA's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report in compliance with GASB and GFOA requirements.
Report all irregularities and illegal acts immediately to GIBA Executive Director, Audit Chairman, and Board Chairman.
Firm must have experience in audits of local governmental entities and enterprise fund accounting.
Provide at least three client references for governmental clients.
Identify principal supervisory and management staff, including engagement partners, and their professional/educational background.
Include a copy of the firm's most recent peer review report.
Provide detailed pricing information, including expenses.
Bidder must carry Workers' Compensation insurance with a minimum Employer's Liability limit of $100,000 per accident.
Bidder must carry General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 Per Occurrence Combined Single Limit.
Bidder must carry Business Auto Policy insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 Per Occurrence Combined Single Limit.
