Conform to Official's determinations and directions
Remove and replace disorderly, careless, or incompetent employees upon Official's request
Do not use City's deliverables/materials for other purposes without Official's consent
Receive a Purchase Order from City prior to beginning performance
Performance must be timely and meet or exceed industry standards
Pay and be responsible for all debts for labor and material
Bear the risk of loss for materials until possession, ownership, and full legal title are transferred to and accepted by the City
Indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the City, its officers, agents, or employees from liabilities, suits, claims, losses, and costs arising from Contractor's acts or omissions
Do not assign, delegate, subcontract, or transfer any interest in the Contract without prior written consent of the Official
Comply with all laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Be licensed to do business in Massachusetts if a business entity
Provide all necessary licenses, permits, or other authorizations
Maintain Worker's Compensation insurance
Maintain professional, liability, and other appropriate insurance as required
Do not discriminate in connection with performance of work
Post notices from the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination
Do not act in collusion with any City officer, agent, or employee
Do not make gifts regarding the Contract
Keep fully informed of and comply with all City Ordinances, Regulations, and State and Federal laws affecting the work
Defend, hold harmless, and indemnify the City against claims arising from violations of laws caused by Contractor's negligent actions or omissions
Actively solicit bids for subcontracting from certified minority and women businesses
Give additional consideration to certified minority and women bidders for subcontracts
Neither Contractor nor subcontractors are currently debarred or suspended by the U.S. government, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or its subdivisions
Neither Contractor nor subcontractors have been subject to federal or state criminal or civil judgment, administrative citation, final administrative determination, order or debarment resulting from a violation of G.L. c149, c151, or the Fair Labor Standards Act within three years prior to the contract date
Report any instance of the above to the Official within five days of receipt
Post notices informing employees of legal protections
Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations regarding human trafficking and forced labor
Comply with the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law (M.G.L. c.149, s.26, -27H) for public works projects, if applicable
Keep true and accurate records of all persons employed on a project for which prevailing wage rates are required
Submit weekly payroll records to the City if the Prevailing Wage Law is applicable
Certify compliance with all laws of the Commonwealth relating to taxes, reporting of employees and contractors, and withholding and remitting of child support (M.G.L. c. 62C, s. 49A)
Certify that the bid or proposal has been made and submitted in good faith and without collusion, fraud, or unfair trade practice
Furnish labor that can work in harmony with all elements of labor employed or to be employed on the work
Submit a Material Safety Data Sheet with the bid if materials contain toxic or hazardous substances
Comply with the 'Right-To-Know Law' (G.L. c.111F)
Furnish evidence of ability and experience to perform the pertinent class of work, if requested
Submit the bid upon the Bid Response Form furnished by the Official
Provide a bid deposit if required
Deliver a properly executed contract and required security for performance within ten calendar days of receipt of notice of acceptance

$50,000 – $200,000

Questions must be received by March 22nd, 2026 at 12:00 PM.

Sealed bids must be filed by March 25th, 2026 at 12:00 PM.

Sealed bids will be publicly opened on March 25th, 2026 at 12:00 PM.

Contract award will be made within ninety (90) days after bid opening.

Contract duration is 1 year.
