DESCRIPTION
The selected auditor will conduct a comprehensive audit adhering to Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book) issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, as well as the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) where applicable. The scope of work includes following all relevant state of Georgia requirements, Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements, and any other federal, state, or local auditing requirements.
The auditor will be responsible for expressing an opinion on the agency's financial statements and for issuing all reports required under the applicable auditing standards. This includes audits and opinions covering Governmental Activities, Business–Type Activities, Aggregate Remaining Fund Information, Aggregate Discretely Presented Component Units, the Statement of Net Position, Statement of Activities, all related note disclosures, and Required Supplementary Information (RSI).
