DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Boston, Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive auction operation services. The selected firm will be responsible for opening and managing an auction account capable of accepting deposits for eligible and unsold items. Key duties include scheduling and hosting auction events, designing and operating the auction process, and ensuring appropriate safety mechanisms are in place during the auction.
The vendor will also clear auctions by processing bid payments and will manage a dedicated bank account for the handling of deposits and fees. Additional responsibilities involve the design and test running of the auction platform, as well as coordinating the collection and distribution of funds according to established guidelines.
