DESCRIPTION

This RFP seeks a vendor to provide ATM and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) device and fiber installation services for a government authority in Illinois. The scope includes the installation of ITS equipment at Intermediate Power Distribution and Communication (IPDC) facility buildings, as well as ITS equipment cabinets.

The vendor will be responsible for the installation of ATM structures and lane control signs, dynamic message signs, closed-circuit television cameras, microwave vehicle detection systems, and galvanized steel poles for ITS. Responsibilities also include all communication and power equipment and wiring required to operate the ITS equipment, removing existing temporary ITS equipment, installing new fiber optic communication cable, and network switches. The contractor will also handle third-party fiber optic cable installation and ensure connection to the existing IT system at plazas, ongoing traffic maintenance, and all related appurtenances.

An optional pre-bid meeting will occur on April 22, 2026, with all questions due by April 28, 2026. Project specifications may be obtained via email.
