The desired platform should include an activities scheduler that enables easy collaboration with other schools, public viewability of athletic calendars and events, and the generation of game official assignment forms. Additional requirements include functionality for roster entry, athlete registration, and customizable account access levels depending on the user role.
The software must allow for the creation of separate landing pages for individual schools, districts, and conferences, and provide seamless integration or information sharing with the district’s main website, which is hosted on Finalsite. Integration mechanisms may include a live API or similar technologies to automatically publish schedules to public-facing district websites. Both a public-facing calendar and a secure backend for event management are required components of the solution.
