DESCRIPTION


A representative service is sought to attract businesses from Asia, with a primary focus on Korean companies, to pursue business development opportunities in Virginia. The selected consultant will manage the organization's LinkedIn presence in the Korean market, handling content creation, routine posting, and audience engagement as part of a coordinated digital marketing strategy aligned with broader organizational goals.

The consultant will be responsible for supporting the attraction of companies from Korea and other Asian countries in priority industry sectors such as information technology, cybersecurity, big data, aerospace, software development, health IT, systems integration, quantum technologies, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. Duties include conducting targeted outreach to industry stakeholders, organizing business development meetings for staff, and facilitating connections between Asian companies and the local business environment. Economic development experience and familiarity with the County’s business landscape are strongly preferred. Interested parties are advised to submit any questions by March 3, 2026.
