DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Kansas is seeking vendors to provide artist services for a series of curated art installations. These installations aim to showcase the region’s creativity to visiting international delegations, business leaders, and global guests.

Artists will be commissioned to create a series of hand-painted soccer balls, with each artist contributing six visually connected soccer balls that together form a dynamic wall installation. The artwork should reflect both the global influence of the World Cup and the unique creative identity of the Kansas City region. In addition, artists are expected to design a suspended installation composed of oversized, abstract soccer scarves.

The overall exhibition will incorporate photography, painting, prints, and mixed media to celebrate Kansas City as a hub where creativity, sport, and innovation converge.
