DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide art program coordinator services, including drafting calls to artists using supplied templates, facilitating solicitation processes, and managing inquiries received by email, phone, or in person. Responsibilities will also involve organizing artist images, soliciting information regarding artists’ past work, coordinating interviews or proposal reviews, and supporting the final artist selection process.

The coordinator must use standard documents, logo, font, and graphic guidelines provided by the arts commission, ensuring proper identification in all project documentation. Protection and backup of key project materials is required, and all relevant documentation must be delivered to the arts commission at the project's close. Communication with project stakeholders, including obtaining and reviewing construction and design drawings, measurements, engineering information, material samples, and photographs, is crucial. The coordinator will convey these materials to artists as needed and assemble an art selection committee with clients and architects.

The role also requires an understanding of sustainability and maintenance considerations for artwork materials. The contract period for this initiative will be five years, with all questions regarding the proposal due by March 12, 2026.
