DESCRIPTION

A government authority located in Albany, New York is seeking professional architectural services for the reconfiguration of buildings to accommodate unique program functions, including those in academic, hospital, research, service, and facilities settings. Some of these projects may involve historic buildings, and could require modifications to the building structure, partitions, envelope, and various building systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and communications.

Assignments typically include full design and construction administration services. During the construction phase, the selected firm will be responsible for field administration, inspections, preparing progress reports, and managing biweekly progress meetings. Projects may encompass replacement, modification, or repair of roofing, roof structures, skylights, parapets, facades, soffits, windows, doors, and other exterior elements to address water infiltration issues, energy loss, construction failures, and building envelope deterioration.
