The government authority in Dublin, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional on-call architectural services for a range of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, from large facilities to tenant improvements. The selected consultant will be expected to meet in person at the start of each project and work closely with agency staff to establish schedules for public meetings and hearings.
Responsibilities include attending agency council or planning commission meetings as needed to address project-related questions, conducting field investigations to assess the feasibility of converting existing structures, and delivering detailed cost estimates in the CSI format to ensure compliance with public contracts codes. Additionally, the consultant will prepare design documentation that incorporates the agency’s front-end requirements and supports public contract compliance.
During the bidding and construction phases, the consultant must provide design support services to assist the agency in successfully completing each project.
