A government authority located in Medford, Oregon seeks qualified firms to provide comprehensive architectural design services for a public project that includes sports venue facilities. Scope of work includes preliminary engineering, environmental and geotechnical investigations, and all aspects of design, requiring expertise in construction cost estimating, constructability reviews, and familiarity with local construction methods and subcontracting markets.
The selected design team must be experienced with public project and sports venue construction, and able to produce public presentation materials such as 3D or artist renderings from both eye-level and aerial perspectives. Facility-specific requirements include provision for secured areas, direct field and dugout access, secured parking with clubhouse access, as well as media facilities to support game controls, video, and tracking equipment.
Further programmatic spaces include team storage, umpire and female staff facilities, weight rooms, hitting/pitching tunnels, and pre- and post-game waiting areas. Additionally, the facility design should integrate high-speed internet connectivity, and address playing field layout, lighting, irrigation, drainage, walls, bullpens, dugouts, batting cages, and screening requirements.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 15, 2026, and all questions from bidders must be submitted by April 17, 2026.
