DESCRIPTION

A government authority located in Westminster, Maryland is seeking qualified vendors to provide architectural and engineering services for a feasibility study of an existing facility. The study will require a comprehensive review, including preparation of a current building floor plan that details space uses and spatial relationships. Vendors are expected to summarize spatial requirements needed to meet educational specifications and describe each building system, referencing applicable external building standards and codes.

The scope of work includes documenting years of construction, occupancy, and any renovation dates for portions of the facility, as well as recording existing building size in net and gross square footage. The study must identify and describe individual spaces, teaching stations, support spaces, and facilities, along with the attributes and size of the school site, utilities serving the building, and creation of both a detailed building floor plan and digitized site plan.
