DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Smithfield, Rhode Island is seeking a qualified vendor to provide architectural and engineering (A&E) services for health and safety improvements as part of designated capital improvement projects with stage II approval. The selected firm will support the owner from design development through occupancy, ensuring that the facility meets all functional and performance requirements in line with agency construction guidelines.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and managing the project, developing a comprehensive communications plan amongst team members, agency entities, and the public, and supplying data and photographs for the project website. The designer will be responsible for securing necessary approvals for all design submissions, assisting with the preparation of documentation and reports, and preparing agendas, minutes, and project reports for committee meetings. The firm will also attend meetings on the agency's behalf, review contractor meeting minutes for accuracy, and ensure all project documentation is complete and timely.
