The government authority in Durham, New Hampshire is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services. The scope of work includes bathroom core reconstruction focused on accessibility and durability, as well as the renewal of standard residential floors and program areas on the ground or first floor.
The project requires modernization efforts such as the addition of air conditioning, building automation system integration, solutions for bathroom exhaust or outside air, electrical distribution upgrades—including panels, feeders, emergency lighting, and generator—and plumbing replacements for domestic and sanitary systems (including heaters and pumps). Additional work entails performing elevator modernization assessments.
Site and courtyard enhancements are also needed for the Williamson/Christensen/Philbrook complex, including improvements to walks, ramps, and other flatwork. The selected vendor will be responsible for design-phase coordination relating to hazardous materials, addressing issues such as resilient flooring, pipe insulation, and the presence of transitional components in furniture systems.
