Key objectives include modernizing and expanding the Transfer Center, enhancing multimodal connectivity and accessibility, improving energy efficiency and sustainability through ecological design and building system upgrades, and ensuring full compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. The selected firm will be expected to support the agency's vision for a safe, efficient, and community-oriented transit hub.
The Transfer Center must remain operational throughout the construction phase, requiring the implementation of temporary facilities and a comprehensive phasing plan. The scope of services includes geotechnical investigations, civil and utility design, landscape architecture, architectural and interior design, as well as signage design.
