DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking qualified architectural and engineering design services to support fire suppression system modifications. The selected vendor will be responsible for inspecting existing conditions and proposing the modification or exchange of the current wet fire suppression system.

Key responsibilities include participation in bi-weekly design progress meetings with the Owner, attending pre-bid construction meetings, responding to bidding questions, and preparing construction bid sheets. The vendor will also manage aspects of the construction phase alongside the Owner and provide assistance during system commissioning and acceptance testing.

The scope encompasses fire alarm design engineering—producing detection and control drawings, specifications, and calculations—as well as submitting equipment and materials for approval. Additionally, the vendor will provide low-pressure mist system design engineering, including system drawings, calculations, and related submittals. A detailed sequence of operations narrative covering alarm logic, system shutdowns, and mist activation is required.

All questions related to the project must be submitted by December 22, 2025. The contract will be for a one-year period. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for December 11, 2025.
