The selected vendor will provide arbitrage rebate services and federal tax compliance support to a government authority in Frankfort, Kentucky. Scope of work includes thorough data review and analysis, managing bond proceeds within the enhanced management administrative reporting system, and preparing annual arbitrage calculations and summary status reports for any assigned entities with materially unspent proceeds.
The vendor will assist the agency with IRS inquiries related to arbitrage, both during and after the contract period, ensuring full compliance with federal requirements. Additionally, the agency requires backlog compliance work, such as reviewing historical bond documents, investment records, and fund activity to perform necessary rebate calculations for previous computation periods, and preparing overdue arbitrage rebate reports—including methodology explanations and supporting schedules—for outstanding bond issues.
