Key responsibilities include performing bond yield calculations, excess investment earnings (rebate) calculations, and computing yield reduction amounts for restricted funds. The vendor must issue comprehensive and professional reports identifying arbitrage amounts annually through the fiscal year-end (August 31), and at five-year intervals on bond anniversary dates.
Additionally, the provider will support IRS-related tasks by documenting that calculation results comply with the 1986 Rebate Provisions, assisting staff with IRS inquiries, and preparing all necessary reports and IRS forms for any required federal payments.
