DESCRIPTION
The City of Burnet, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide appraisal services on a per-parcel basis in compliance with Uniform Relocation Act (URA) standards. The selected firm will conduct independent review appraisals to determine fair market value for property owners and must consider property rights, contamination assumptions, valuation dates, title information, zoning, present use, and a five-year sales history in their assessments.
Vendors are required to produce comprehensive appraisal reports that include adequate photographs, maps, and detailed descriptions of both the subject property and comparable sales. Appraisers must offer property owners or their representatives the opportunity to accompany them during inspections. All reports must be submitted to the City in accordance with applicable regulatory standards.
