The State of Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and innovative services for its UInteract unemployment insurance application. The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the application, implementing improvements to align with industry standards, and pursuing innovative upgrades, such as adding microservices, expanding cloud-centric architecture, and potentially incorporating artificial intelligence.
Key responsibilities include remediating system vulnerabilities through code fixes and ensuring all aspects of the application meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements as well as Missouri IT Accessibility Standards. The contractor will be expected to address issues in both planned and emergency (hot fix) releases, and implement enhancements or large-scale changes as directed by the state agency, which may require significant additional staffing.
This contract also emphasizes innovation through the increased use of microservices and cloud-native technologies. The period of performance for these services will be two years.
