A Maryland agency is seeking an Apple Authorized Service Provider to deliver comprehensive maintenance and technical support services for its Apple hardware and software assets. The selected vendor will provide both weekly on-site and remote support for Apple and Macintosh desktop computers, laptops, and servers. Core responsibilities include routine maintenance and upgrades for desktops and laptops, installation and upgrades of software (including operating system testing and deployment), network connectivity assistance in collaboration with internal IT staff, server maintenance and patching, and operating system upgrades.
The agency further requires management of cloud-based offsite backup and disaster recovery solutions, currently involving approximately 12TB of data with expected growth. Remote troubleshooting for staff working from home and coordinated software support are also essential components of the contract.
In addition to ongoing maintenance, the provider may be called upon to deliver emergency and non-routine services. These services can include installation of new equipment, hardware and software repairs and restorations from backups, telephone support, and assistance with special projects. The contract term is three years.
